L’Oréal
Beauty Intelligence
When research becomes sensation.
In 2009, L’Oréal worked with its R&D teams to imagine a new way of bringing the science of beauty to life.
Hair Show & Beauty Show became a sensory journey where material, light and interaction made research tangible.
Visitors discovered innovations through gesture and experience, within a fluid and accessible scenography.
Technology guided the eye without ever imposing itself, allowing material and emotion to reveal innovation.

62 experiences. A new reading of beauty.
More than 62 interactive experiences shaped this environment, imagined well before the rise of experiential retail.
Touch interfaces, real-time content, light and immersive systems gave form to the group’s scientific advances.
Each experience translated research into a more intuitive, sensitive and immediately perceptible language.
A living universe where science, design and narrative came together to explore contemporary beauty differently.
